2011 Cisco Academy Conference

Byte Back! is pleased to announce that David Schamus will be a speaker at the Cisco Academy Conference in June 2011. Dave will be presenting "Alternative Methods of Teaching Subnet Mask Basics: Subnet Masking Without Binary Math." The session is aimed at helping educators help their students overcome some of the barriers associated with learning this critical task. David Schamus, MA, MCSE, CCNA, CCAI, MCT
Principal.

Dave has more than 24 years experience in computer consulting, business consulting, and educational technology. He earned a BS in Business Management at UOP and an MA in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University. He served as Director of Training for Quarterdeck Office Systems (a manufacturer of leading PC utility software), teaches at UCLA Extension (where his a departmental Honor Roll Instructor), and is a faculty member at Pierce College. He has physically presented technical training programs in four countries, and in more than 20 countries virtually.

Mary Miller, MCSE
Mary is now a Principal and a Vice President withpmpm Consulting, a highly respected Healthcare management consulting group. While she is no longer with Byte Back!, we recommend that you contact her at pmpm Consulting for your Healthcare Information Systems needs.

Mary has more than 20 years experience with information systems in the Healthcare environment. Her first career was as a nurse in Canada and she brings her knowledge of real-world healtcare services to information technology. She has worked for/with vendors such as EZCap, Health Trio Express, and multiple practice management applications. She served as the Acting Director of Operations for WellPoint's Health Care Transaction Network, and as MIS Director for Employee Health Systems.
